An eventful few nights at Notch Point

Some camping trips are all yarns and campfire philosophy. This one? Not so much talking — but plenty going on.

In this video, we spend a few days camped at Notch Point and let the location (and the moments) do most of the heavy lifting.

We kicked things off by experimenting with a few new camera angles. Some worked beautifully. Some were… questionable. Either way, it was fun trying something a bit different and seeing how it played out on the edit.

Then there was that moment — a 4WD left parked on the beach at low tide while its owner was off fishing. One of those situations where you don’t need to say much… the visuals tell the story pretty clearly.

We also take a look around Notch Point itself, which is far easier to access now than it was 12 months ago. If you’ve been here before and sworn you’d never come back because of the entry track, it might be time to rethink that.

And finally — the sunsets. No explanation needed. They’re the kind that make you stop mid-task, stare west, and quietly agree that staying an extra night is a very good idea.
