We rolled out of Katoomba, stopped in Lithgow for a surprisingly good brekkie, and then towed Tia around Mount Panorama at Bathurst – possibly the slowest lap in history. After battling wild winds to set up camp in Parkes, we explored the town’s star attraction: the famous radio telescope from The Dish. We even tested out the whisper dish experiment before heading back to camp for a hearty poikipot dinner by the fire.
