From Breakdown to Blue Mountains Bliss: Camping in Katoomba

Our Blue Mountains trip didn’t start the way we planned. Just north of Goulburn, we found ourselves on the roadside with hazard lights clicking. Luckily, it turned out to be a quick fix and we were back on the road in no time.

We based ourselves at Katoomba Falls Tourist Park, the perfect spot for exploring. From the caravan park, we walked straight to the Three Sisters lookout for those iconic views.

The next day was all about Scenic World — skyways, forest walks, and even the steepest railway in the world at 52 degrees! It was a full day of breathtaking scenery and a great reminder of why the Blue Mountains should be on every traveller’s list.
