We headed north chasing better weather and found ourselves at Mystery Craters near South Kolan. A quirky little tourist attraction that also offers Hipcamp stays.
The weather? Grey.
The gazebo? Dripping.
The fridge? Questionable.
Which naturally led to a camp cook experiment.
Yolinda made a version of meatloaf stuffed inside whole capsicums, using pork and beef mince, quinoa instead of breadcrumbs, loads of spices and a cheesy top for good measure.
It was meant to be experimental.
It turned out to be a winner.
We also share what surprised us about staying at Mystery Craters — including how close the camping area is to the attraction itself.

Would we cook it again? Absolutely.
